If your planning to have your Bridal Shower in an area where you can pull off a Hawaiian Themed Shower or if your planning on having it during the summer, here are some great ideas I wanted to share with you today. I love keeping a consistent theme and or color scheme... Here I chose bold oranges, fuchsia, and tropical blues. I love the idea of a cute and comfortable maxi dress and especially that its not your "typical" Hawaiian print that you'd see all over. These cute hand cloths by Isola Bella are great as welcome gifts for your guests or as a gift to the Bride to be (they also have Table Runners, Coasters, Hand Cloths, and more). Also, every Bridal Shower needs some type of refreshing punch (in this case a tropical one). The Bride to be should have a fresh, light, and airy face of makeup (natural but pretty) - which is why we love this Stila Coconut Crush Lip & Cheek Stain (2-in-1 = amazing)~ Having scents in the room that make you feel like your in Hawaii are a huge plus, Coconut, Pineapple, and Mango scented candles are my favorites!

Pink Chandelier Invitation via MINTED
Gluten Free Pink Champagne Cupcakes
I came across this fabulous recipe by Stephanie Stiavetti via her website Wasabimon Culinary Life and was thriled to share such a great Gluten Free dessert recipe with my close friends (who many are now gluten-free obsessed) and my blog readers! I think it would be perfect for really any occasion, but especially fitting for a Valentine Bridal Shower. Thanks Stephanie for sharing this great recipe with us~
Ingredients (Makes 12 Cupcakes):
1-1/4 cup gluten free flour mix
1/4 cup almond flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1-1/2 teaspoon gluten-free baking powder
1/2 teaspoon xanthan gum
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup champagne, freshly opened and at room temperature
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 drops champagne flavoring (optional)
3 drops red food coloring (optional)
Champagne buttercream frosting (recipe below)
- Place rack in center of oven and preheat to 350°F.
- Place cupcake liners in a pan large enough to hold 12 cupcakes.
- In a medium-sized bowl, stir together gluten free flour mix, almond flour, salt, baking powder and xanthan gum. Mix well.
- In a large bowl, beat together sugar and eggs with an electric mixer on medium speed. Mix for about one minute.
- To sugar and egg mixture, use a spoon to gently stir in oil, champagne, milk, vanilla and optional champagne flavoring and red food coloring.
- Add the dry flour ingredients to the wet ingredients and beat with an electric mixer for one minute at medium speed.
- Pour batter into cupcake cups, filling each one about 2/3 full.
- Place pan in oven on center rack. Bake for 20-22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cupcakes should be slightly golden brown on top.
- Cool on a rack for five minute before removing cupcakes from pan. Allow cupcakes to cool completely on rack before frosting.
- Pipe on champagne buttercream frosting. Sprinkle with sparkling sugar or tiny silver dragees (edible silver balls made out of candy).
Champagne Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients (Makes 3 Cups of Frosting):
3-1/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons champagne, at room temperature
3 drops red food coloring (optional)
Milk to adjust consistency
- With an electric mixer, beat together sugar and butter. Mix on low until well blended, and then on medium for another two minutes.
- Add vanilla, champagne and optional red food coloring, beating on medium for another minute.
- If you want a thinner frosting, beat in milk one tablespoon at a time until you reach the desired consistency. If you want thicker frosting, mix in more powdered sugar one tablespoon at a time until it’s as thick as you like.

Fabulous Wedding Accessories from Stella & Dot!

I recently attended a home party, featuring Jewelry Designs by Stella & Dot. I wasn't sure what to expect... I happen to not usually be a fan of the home shopping parties, only because i don't like making people feel pressured to buy (even though i happen to be a mary kay consultant - which i love! i just am not a fan of pressuring). Anyway, I attended the party and immediately fell for all the cute jewelry and accessories from Stella & Dot! From their fabulous display, incredible products, and right down to their adorable packaging!! I just had to share this fantastic find with all my Brides out there; be sure to check out the Stella & Dot Website where you can order online! Thanks to my cousin Sarah (the hostess) and the oh so wonderful Stella & Dot Stylist: Michelle Bouras for turning me on to Stella & Dot!

There are so many on trend pieces in their current collection that are just perfect for your wedding day look. I even purchased myself the "Glint Flower CZ Earings" that were recently featured in InStyle Weddings Magazine (I've already gotten so many compliments already)!! Check them out here:
I think this incredible pearl and metallic necklace below would be so amazing paired with a strapless gown and some simple earings and this timeless bracelette below - what a stunning look!
