For those of you currently adding items to your wedding gift registries, here are some tips and insight as to why registering for items that you can get use out of on your wedding day (ie. cocktail hour serving pieces, reception decor) and can also be enjoyed in your future home can be more beneficial to you in the long run...
Often times you will end up receiving many of your wedding gifts prior to your actual big day and if you register for items used for entertaining, it could be a great DIY money saver to you if some of the items used on your big day happen to be gifted from your guests (and of course they'll be thrilled to see you getting great use out of the gift they purchased for you with love).
Items such as Beverage Servers, Beverage Ice Tubs, Cake Plates, Serving Platters, Glass Vases, and Decorative Candle Holders are just a few items that can be used during your Wedding Reception and enjoyed while entertaining in your home post-wedding.
Always remember to have fun while registering and be sure to select items with a variety of price ranges to give guests options! Enjoy~
If any of you Brides are just now creating your Gift Registry for your upcoming wedding, it's the perfect time to make sure you register for Holiday Decor while its still in store! Whether its Thanksgiving Cookware, Serving Platters, Christmas Ornaments, Garland, Seasonal Door Mats, etc. Now is the perfect time to make sure your prepared for your first year of celebrating the Holidays as Newlyweds~
Here are some great items to add to your registry if your wedding is soon approaching. Remember, you can always add stuff online to your registry and don't have to make a trip to the actual store. If you don't want to register for expensive patio furniture (as that would be a pretty pricy item to have on any registry), a great alternative are the Pottery Barn Sliding Chairs $99. Having at least 2 of them on your patio or deck, is a great item for having guests over, or as a functional summer item to take to the beach! They also have a matching picnic set that is so adorable! Every Groom crosses his fingers that one out of the 100 guests you've invited, will splurge in getting him his Man-Grill - you'll appreciate registering for that one ladies when you don't feel like cooking~ The margarita glasses are awesome as they aren't real glass, you don't have to worry about glassware breaking outside. Check out these goodies while its still EXTRA HOT outside ;)
If you haven't discovered the new and modern way to make coffee, you're missing out! The Keurig Single Cup Coffee Maker is the first item I recommend scanning for your registry... Available at many retailers such as Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond, Costco, Kohls, and more. Purchase your flavored coffee inserts for $9.99, insert, and serve yourself of guests a delicious cup of coffee that feels like you got it from a gourmet coffee shop! They also sell cute carriers to display flavor coffee options - we love it!!
Check out these fantastic new items from the Martha Stewart Collection via Macy's! I have to admit that Macy's was one of my favorite places to register at (there and crate&barrel of course), as they have so many awesome home products to choose from in a wide variety of price ranges. Also, Martha also happens to be one of my faves - a little bias maybe? Anyway, these vibrant products above shout "Spring" to me and make it close to impossible to cook in a bad mood i assume. Have fun with that scanner gun and enjoy your spring Registry Shopping~
I'm a sucker for watching Giada with her awesome cooking recipe's/tips and boy do I love shopping at Target! It's with much excitement that I share with all of you who haven't noticed that Giada De Laurentiis now has products at Target (if you are registering at Target, be sure to check out her new products). *Target Tip: Make sure that any items you register for are available both in store & online (don't register online - it's best to register in person at the store). Happy scanning :}
