I was recently talking to my cousin who is getting married this May and is working on planning her plum colored wedding decor. She got me thinking that I needed to do a Plum & Silver Inspiration Board... Purple is naturally one of my favorite colors and I always love a wedding in shades of purple, plum, and lavender; what a fabulous color to do a wedding in! This Inspiration board is for a Bride who prefers silver toned accents (personally I love gold paired with plum). Florals in Plum, lavender, green, and crystal accents. Enjoy~
Inspiration Board: Vibrant shades of Gold & Purple for Bridesmaids in any season!
For some reason I've become a huge fan of vibrant colors being combined with golden hues as it tends to give such a rich and sultry look (while keeping it classy and elegant)! This inspiration describes just that... The look would look great on many body types, skin colors, and a variety of hail colors. When dressing a bridal party in matching outfits, choosing a look to flatter all is best~
Hawaiian Themed Bridal Shower Inspiration Board
If your planning to have your Bridal Shower in an area where you can pull off a Hawaiian Themed Shower or if your planning on having it during the summer, here are some great ideas I wanted to share with you today. I love keeping a consistent theme and or color scheme... Here I chose bold oranges, fuchsia, and tropical blues. I love the idea of a cute and comfortable maxi dress and especially that its not your "typical" Hawaiian print that you'd see all over. These cute hand cloths by Isola Bella are great as welcome gifts for your guests or as a gift to the Bride to be (they also have Table Runners, Coasters, Hand Cloths, and more). Also, every Bridal Shower needs some type of refreshing punch (in this case a tropical one). The Bride to be should have a fresh, light, and airy face of makeup (natural but pretty) - which is why we love this Stila Coconut Crush Lip & Cheek Stain (2-in-1 = amazing)~ Having scents in the room that make you feel like your in Hawaii are a huge plus, Coconut, Pineapple, and Mango scented candles are my favorites!
Fabulous Bridesmaid Attire that DOESN'T scream "I'm from a Bridal Shop!"
I'm sure many of you who have been a Bridesmaid or Maid of Honor in the past, often times hear these words from the bride "I know the dress is $200, but just remember the best part is you can totally wear the dress again for another occasion!" -haha
"YeAhhhh Right!" is what many of you were thinking after you laid eyes on the hideous and stiff dress (in either a bright color or color you'd never choose to wear) that was picked out at the local bridal shop (also known as the cheesie bridal chain every other bride goes to based on the commercial deals). Well, if you've been following my blog I hope you've noticed that I steer clear from anything that looks like cheesie attire that most guests will be expecting to see walking down the aisle... This look is sure to impress as it looks more like something you'd see during a celebrity cocktail event. This time I am being completely genuine in saying "I truly believe this dress will be sure to get worn more than once by any bridal party" :) Remember to always keep très chic in mind~

Christmas Themed Wedding Inspiration Board
Here is a great example of how you can pull off a Christmas Wedding, while still keeping the look Très Chic! So many times Brides can go over board when sticking with a "theme" and if they decide to have a Christmas wedding, sometimes you'll see bridesmaids in Green and Red, with matchy matchy shoes and jewelry, garland down the wedding aisle, and you wouldn't be shocked if Santa was at the reception.... Here is my vision on keeping a Christmas Wedding theme classy! Warm reds make create a rich look, incorporating a hint of both red and green in the flowers needs to be done just right (going more red helps)... Using crystals and golds can make it feel more elegant. Remember to put elegance before cheesyness and you should be just fine in pulling off an elegant Christmas Themed Wedding~
